Dustin Reset: Local Baseball Legend
The local legend speaks of a young boy named Dustin Reset. He wasn’t a strong, studly lad. Instead of being someone that you instantly recognized as a natural athlete, he sat on the bench so much his friends joked he left a mark.
Dustin Reset had the last laugh though. He hit the longest homerun in Wisconsin Rapids Little League history. The posted coordinates put you in his footsteps: home plate. The field has changed a little over the years, so modern home plate is not exactly where he stood in 1928. Modern measurements show he hit the ball 271.98163 feet. We don’t know how he managed to do it. A special bat? A strong gust of wind? Some special elixir that would be illegal today?
It doesn’t matter. That hit so invigorated the locals they decided to commemorate the event. Simply find where his ball landed, then proceed an additional 149.835958 feet on a bearing of 078° 50′ 22″ and you will find the cache.
