Geocache Description:

Same Houston Jones State Park Cache

This cache is located in a Louisiana State Park. The park has nice camping facilities, nature trails, deer pens, play grounds, and a boat launch into the Calcasieu River. There is a $2.00 per car admission fee to the park. The cache is located about 130 feet from one of the nature trails. Other than having to fight swarms of cache guarding mosquitoes, we had no problems walking right up to the cache site. The cache container is a .50 caliber ammo box, tied to a nearby tree with a length of cammo cord to prevent it from floating away in one of the big rain storms. Please conceal the cord when you replace the cache.
