Background

Welcome to my series of odd and miscellaneous challenges.

After releasing such a Canadian-centric challenge, we thought it would only be fitting that this next challenge have more of an international scope and hopefully have greater mass appeal.

The Challenge

To qualify for this challenge, you must have found caches in 4 different countries - 1,111 in the first country, 111 in a 2nd country, 11 in a 3rd, and finally one more cache in a 4th country. And what does that add up to? 1,234 caches in 4 countries of course!

The Requirements

Some more things about the challenge to be aware of:

  • Locationless caches, adventure lab caches and benchmarks can not be used for this challenge.
  • The caches from this bookmark list - Caches Excluded from Souvenirs and Statistics can not be used for this challenge either.
  • All past finds count. Any caches that you have found and have been archived or disabled after you have found them can be used for this challenge if they meet the criteria.
  • This is not a streak challenge in any way. The finds do not have to be sequential in any way.
  • There are no time limits or restrictions or any required order for these cache to be found in. In other words, the cache for each country do not all have to be found in one day or any other specific time period.

The fine print

CO reserves the right to make any changes to this challenge if any issues or ambiguities are discovered. CO will be fair but has the final say on any events, caches, finds, or logs that are questionable. CO reserves the right to delete any logs if problems are found.

Finding This Cache

Please remember to be respectful of the cache location. Be aware of how and where the cache is "attached" so that it can be put back in exactly the same way and in the same place for the next person(s) to enjoy. Only the "inner" portion of the cache needs to be removed to log the cache. The container may not be accessible during the winter months.

Logging This Cache

As with any challenge caches, you are welcome to physically sign the log for this cache and log it as "Write Note" if you haven't met the challenge's requirements yet. Please bring your own pen(cil)/writing instrument to sign the log.

Please use this Project-GC challenge checker below to verify if you have qualified for this challenge.

PGC Checker

***** PLEASE NOTE *****
The checker for this challenge was updated on Jan. 7th, 2025 to correct an error. If you ran the checker previous to that date, please run the checker again to verify you qualify for this challenge.

You can only log a "Found It" entry online after you've completed the challenge and signed the log. All non-qualifying "Found It" logs will be deleted without notice.
