This area is part of the Gunpowder State Park which is divided into 6 areas. This area is referred to as the Central Area, which includes the Little and Big Gunpowder Falls as well as the Jerusalem Mill Historic Village. The Little Gunpowder is the border between Harford and Baltimore Counties.

Guyton Rd. is west of Mountain Rd/ 152 and connects with Reckord Rd. and Bottom Rd. An interesting stop could be at HILLBILLY BEACH a 65-foot long beach area. During the summer, and especially on weekends, it can become quite popular. Limited Parking.

Nearby is the Bottom Rd. Steel Bridge, built in 1886. Considered a historic bridge with a unique design. Swimming, hiking, and biking are favorite activities.
