Welcome to Elbasan, a nice little city in Albania.
Even though it is the third biggest city of the country it is not very popular. For Albanians it is known as an industrial and working city. So they often make fun about Elbasan being ugly and "there is nothing you can see here". But actually it has a nice and lovely center.
Okay, to be fair, the castle is basically just an ancient city wall. And besides that there is really not so much beauty in comparrison to other Albanian towns. But it still has a nice flair. You can definetely spend a day here just observing the balkan lifestyle. So thats why I hid now the first cache of Elbasan near the "castle" entrance.
It was already night when i was here so i hope i picked a more or less good spot for it being not muggled too fast. Anyhow. It is hidden under a tree near the castle entrance. It is a small glas jar hidden behind some lose rocks. Might look like litter on the first sight.
