GIFF 2023: Koorda
What is GIFF?
Every year geocachers around the world—like you—create short films about geocaching and submit them to Geocaching HQ for judging. During the month of August, the films are reviewed by judges from Geocaching HQ. In September, finalist films are announced and the filmmakers are notified. After announcing the finalists, Geocaching HQ creates a film reel with the finalist films.
Anyone that attends a GIFF viewing event will receive a virtual souvenir. So hop onto the bandwagon and try to get there for a great evening of socialising and entertainment.
Thinking of attending?
West Oz Geocaching welcomes all geocachers and community members interested in Geocaching to join us in celebrating Geocaching International Film Festival 2023!
This year we're trying something a little different and are leaving Perth for the small Wheatbelt town of Koorda!
So, why Koorda I hear you ask? Well that is because Koorda has its very own drive in cinema, one of the last remaining in Western Australia. There is no better way to watch a movie!
When: Saturday 11 November - 7.00pm to 8.00pm
Where: Koorda Hall - 43 Railway St, Koorda
Where should I stay?
