The Trail
A permit is not required for hiking, walking, or seeking this cache. However certain activities, such as horseback riding or mountain biking, may require one. Conway Robinson State Forest is open from 7am to 7pm - No Night Caching! This multicache runs through the forest on a trail "less taken". The entire hike, if you start from the parking lot, is about 1.5 miles long.
The Cache
One morning I was hiking and heard chatting and giggling near the trail. I hiked into the woods toward the noise. The only thing I found were remnants of foods that are favorites of the wood elves. Now, I'm not saying that I believe they exist, but there are lots of things that happen in the forest that you could attribute to them. I marked some spots that looked suspicious and left the track for you to follow.
The hides are easy to get to from the trail. Each hidden clue provides the position of the next. My advice is don't force your way through bushes and briars but go around a difficult patch using open forest floors and search for something that might not be noticed by the casual hiker but clearly should not be there. If you do it quietly you might get to hear the wood elves. The cache is in an upgraded cache box.
