This geocache is located in the shore by the museum. It is made with kids in mind, it contains some fun items to look at or swap. It is in a plastic air tight container.
The winds at this location can be pretty harsh and the shore is a little difficult to walk. There is parking in front of the museum and the geocache is pretty close. I chose this location for various reasons. The first reason is this is a beautiful place that is rarely visited, to many people drive by without enjoying the beautiful nature and sea view. Second reason is the birdlife. This location is optimal for bird viewing and sometimes you can see seals hanging around. The third reason is that this is a historical site. In the Second World War there was a large military camp on this location. A few meters from the cache you can still see the old cannon site.
