Ľubietova je banícka dedina v ktorej sa nachádza až 23 bani a štôlni.
Do niektorých z týchto starých banských štôlní je možné na vlastné riziko vstúpiť. V okolitých lesoch sa nachádzajú aj hlboké vertikálne komíny, ktoré neraz dosahujú hĺbku niekoľkých metrov.
Zlatý vek ľubietovského baníctva pripomínajú aj okolité haldové polia, na ktorých možno stále nájsť vzorky vzácneho Libethenitu, ale napríklad i malachitu. Zber minerálov je však zakázaný.

Some of these old mine tunnels can be entered at your own risk. There are also deep vertical chimneys in the surrounding forests, which often reach a depth of several meters.
The golden age of mining in Ljubietov is also reminiscent of the surrounding heap fields, where you can still find samples of rare Libethenite, as well as malachite, for example. However, collecting minerals is prohibited.
