Welcome to the University at Albany's Academic Podium. Urban Dictionary defines "Podiate" as "when University at Albany students gather on the podium to hang out." Notice all the pillars--there are 1,248 pillars on our Uptown Campus! We did all the counting, so you don't have too. Next to the East Garden, you will find the Performing Arts Center. For over 50 yeras, the PAC has hosted an arry of national and international touring artists in music, dance, and theatre. Our Music and Theatre Department hosts several concerts and productions each year.
