Geocache Description:

Welcome to a nearly forgotten bike trail, the Green Diamond Rail Trail. The trail is only 4 miles long and joins Farmersville with Wagoner. It is nearly deserted as no one seems to know of its existence (although it is shown on the state of Illinois trail map). The cache is located approximately one-third of the way from the starting point in Farmerville. The cache is a small screw-lid container with a beginning load of swag and a small notebook and pencils. It's an very short 80-100 yard walk from a convenient parking point where a little-used country road crosses the trail. No serious bushwhacking is needed.
