Jardim do Tanque
O Jardim do Tanque está situado no sítio do Tanque. Tem 2.500m2, aproximadamente. É incorporado com um Parque de Merendas e um Parque Radical. É possível ver as normas de utilização do Parque Radical no painel informativo à entrada do jardim. O Parque de Merendas, é constituído por churrasqueiras, mesas e bancos, pia, balcão, espaço verde, luz, baldes do lixo, água, entre outros. Assim, torna-se um espaço bastante atrativo para o convívio ao longo de todo o ano. O jardim, conta ainda com um poço de captação de águas provenientes da represa do Tanque. O Fontanário do Tanque, englobado no jardim e junto à estrada, remonta ao início da segunda metade do século. XX e é constituída por blocos de cantaria vermelha, no centro, e cantaria branca do Porto Santo nas bordas, onde se vê, na parte superior, um desgaste provocado pelo afiar de navalhas, utensílio indispensável aos homens do antigamente. A pia é de feição semicircular e o piso apresenta dois níveis de pavimento, um em calçada madeirense (calhau rolado) e outro em pedra semi-talhada de pequenas proporções. Ainda tem um pequeno lago, que infelizmente, e dada a escassez de água, normalmente está seco. Por fim, é espaço muito útil no bem-estar da vida dos Porto-Santenses e uma mais-valia para todos os que visitam este paraíso.
Jardim do Tanque is located on the site of Tanque. It has approximately 2,500m2. It is incorporated with a Picnic Park and an Radical Park. It is possible to see the rules for using the Radical Park on the information panel at the entrance to the garden. The Picnic Park, consists of barbecue grills, tables and benches, sink, counter, green space, electricity, garbage cans, water, among others. Thus, it becomes a very attractive space for conviviality throughout the year. The garden also has a well for capturing water from the Tanque dam. The Tanque Fountain, included in the garden and next to the road, dates back to the beginning of the second half of the century. XX and consists of blocks of red stonework, in the center, and white stonework from Porto Santo on the edges, where you can see, in the upper part, wear caused by the sharpening of razors, an indispensable tool for men of the past. The sink is semi-circular in shape and the floor has two levels of pavement, one in Madeiran cobblestone (rolled pebble) and the other in small, semi-carved stone. It still has a small lake, which unfortunately, and given the scarcity of water, is usually dry. Finally, it is a very useful space for the well-being of Porto-Santenses and an asset for all who visit this paradise.

De modo a resolver esta multi-cache, terá de visitar o jardim, e ir até às três etapas, todas muito perto umas das outras. Após visitar as três etapas, e escolher a opção correta, consoante a questão, chegará com facilidade e naturalmente à localização final.
É uma multi-cache simples, que pode ser concluída em poucos minutos. Após concluir e registar a cache, disfrute do espaço. Esta multi-cache visa a mostrar este espaço que muitas vezes, fica esquecido e de fora dos roteiros e em simultâneo, dar a conhecer o fontanário do Tanque e algumas das características deste jardim. O jardim está aberto todo o ano, 24h por dia.
In order to solve this multi-cache, you'll have to visit the garden, and go to the three stages, all very close to each other. After visiting the three stages, and choosing the correct option, depending on the question, you will arrive easily and naturally at the final location.
It's a simple multi-cache that can be completed in a few minutes. After completing and registering the cache, enjoy the space. This multi-cache aims to show this space that is often forgotten and off the beaten path and, at the same time, make known the Tanque fountain and some of the characteristics of this garden. The garden is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
