Geocache Description:

Repulsive Pirate Challenge - GC677MN

Repulsive Pirates GC677MN is a traditional cache on Repulse Beach which as the listing says -

Repulse Beach today still looks now much as it did when Cook passed by. It lies on the south-western boundary of the Conway National Park and there is no formal land access to the beach, which is backed by a 180 m high, densely vegetated spur that ends at Rocky Point. The beach is 1.3 km long, faces south-east and is bordered by Rocky Point to the south and a small, mangrove-fringed tidal creek and sand delta to the north.

I point this out, because a younger very green greencordial, tagged along on a fantastic geocaching adventure down to the Airlie beach region in her formative caching years, and this remarkable adventurous cache was to be her 200th find.

Prior to caching Green would never even think of doing such a mission, which involved crossing a tidal creek, traversing over a steep rocky headland and then a several hundred metre stretch of pristine white sandy beach, ignoring possible crocodile warnings and it really did test her. But, regardless of her producing an oral waterfall of her own on the way to the cache and sinking halfway up her legs in the muddy stretch of tidal creek on the way back (thinking it was all over at that point), she proved that she would go above and beyond in this game, regardless of crocodile warnings. "I'll leave the Park and Grabs for burgo78..Arrrh" I vaguely recall her saying after getting this particular smiley.

That's why this challenge of obtaining the milestone of  200 caches is dedicated to greencordial and the Repulsive Pirates cache.

The cache and location is very piratey. A number of eyepatches, a treasure chest, a pirate telescope, a few gold pirate dubloons,  creepy crawlies and a Piratey GeoCoin FTF prize  are in the cache stowed on the portside of the ship, the BlackPearl.

Please note that if you qualify on your write note date, I will delete found dates logged after that, especially if found on consecutive days of the others in this series. Cut the bullshit
