Geocache Description:

There once was a guy named Jo. He lived in a shack off of an unnamed dirt road. He didn't have anywhere to shower. One day there happened to be a man driving a truck with a bed full of sparkling, clear water. The man driving the truck pulled over when he saw Jo waving his hands in the air like he just don't care. He rolled down his window and asked Jo what the matter is, so Jo explained his situation to the man. The man furrowed a brow in confusion and decided it wasn't a big deal, so he let Jo bathe in the back of his truck. Jo asked the kind man if he happened to have a loofah with him so that he could scrub his body.

The man said, "As a matter of fact, I do! I just so happen to be transporting some bathing supplies to a dog cleansing company!". The kind man hands Jo one of his dog loofahs. Jo is so so so happy. All of a sudden, a big business car pulls up behind them. it says "Kossuth Road Naming Company" on the truck. A tall man in business uniform approaches the truck that Jo is bathing in.

The tall business man looks at Jo and says, "Hello, my name is Bob. I am a road naming official of Kossuth. I would like to congratulate you on being the first person I have approached on this road! You have earned the right to name this road. What would you like to name this road? Wait, what is that in your hand?"

Jo is in shock. Jo doesn't know which question to respond to first. He decides to respond to the question about his loofah first. Jo begins to say "loof-" when the man begins writing down the word. Jo is mesmerized and so happy that he has gotten the opportunity to name a road! But before he has a chance to finish saying "loofah", the business man says, "Amazing! Thank you!" and begins to walk back to his vehicle. He drives away and Jo is speechless.

The next day, Jo sees some construction workers placing a sign at the end of his dirt road that says "l.o.o.f.". He is confused but happy at the same time.

THE END

*this is not a true story. apologies. but it was fun to write!

I drive past this road daily on my way to work and constantly wonder how it got it's name. It looks different on the sign versus the navigation, some of you may notice. I've been thinking a lot recently about placing a cache here, and decided to finally do it! It isn't anything crazy, but it gives people a reason to drive on "loof" road. Drive. Street. Idk lol. loof.

Container is a bison tube, should be a quick park and grab.
