Dear geocachers,
This is a legendary poem passed down for generations, author unknown.
Sincerely,
Milo and Spiro
"The Buccaneer's Baltimore Bounty: Unearthing the Captains Cove"
Ahoy, me hearties! Ye seek a treasure bold,
In Baltimore, a tale of old untold.
With pirate tongue and iambic rhymes,
I'll guide ye to the spot, where gold it chimes.
Set sail to streets where legends intertwine,
Where the 5th lord of Baltimore doth shine,
Cross paths with hills of limestone, firm and grand,
Ye'll find the spot where ye should make a stand.
First, set yer course to where two trees stand tall,
Like masts upon a ship, proud and enthralled.
A horseshoe-shaped bush nearby doth reside,
A clue to guide ye where the treasure hides.
Make way, me mateys, to the southwest corner,
An intersection's embrace, ye must not falter.
As compass points direct, ye shall not fail,
The streets be named for legends on this trail.
The 5th lord of Baltimore, renowned,
And England's limestone hills,
ye should astound.
With lanterns bright, illuminate the path,
Draw closer to the treasure, feel its wrath.
At last, ye reach the base, where shadows creep,
Dig deep, ye scallywags, and claim what ye seek.
A chest of wonders, gleaming in the light,
Hold victory high, behold the pirate's sight.
Ye've triumphed o'er the riddles and the test,
The treasure's yours, me hearties, be ye blessed.
But heed me words, for treasures come and go,
A pirate's life's a journey, don't ye know?
Set sail once more, explore the vast unknown,
For in each adventure, new tales are sown.
So, set yer compass true, seek fortune's thrill,
And may the winds of luck be at yer will.
In Baltimore's embrace, ye'll find a score,
A pirate's treasure, waiting on the shore.
