Our extended family is known for making up games to play with whatever materials we have on hand.
The name of this cache comes from the time we played Capture The Flag at the park where this cache is hidden. We didn't have any flags but we did have two boxes of Cheez-Its and that is what we ended up using.
We have since played Capture The Flag as a family many times with plenty of substitutes for flags (baseball gloves were a good choice) but it will always be called Borrow The Cheez-It.
The best and closest parking for this cache is the lot that you reach from the Erie Rd. entrance. Then it's a very short walk down the Brambleside Trail until you reach Ground Zero. The cache is less than 20 feet from the paved trail.
If you park in the lot near the Reeves Road entrance take the Songbird Loop Trail over the bridge to the Brambleside Trail.
Tweezers might be a good idea and please bring your own writing utensil.
