Geocache Description:

NFC (near field communication) is a wireless technology which allows for the transfer of data such as text or numbers between two NFC enabled devices. NFC tags, for example stickers, contain small microchips with little aerials which can store a small amount of information for transfer to another NFC device, such as a mobile phone.

Haven't heard of it? Think 'Paywave' as the technology is similar.

The "wireless beacon" attribute has been selected to indicate that a NFC capable smartphone is required to read the NFC tag.

Most modern mobile smartphones can read NFC tags however you may need to download a NFC Tag Reader app to interact with the tag.

Go to the listed coordinates, down the stairs, then to the left and look for a round, silver transparent sticker about the size of a 10 cent piece on an electrical box.

Hold your smartphone within three centimetres of the tag (with the relevant app running) and if your phone is capable it will read the tag, displaying the the next stage of this short 4 part multi (3 tags and the final).

The total distance between the listed coordinates and the final is 300m and the multi should only take most people around 10 minutes to complete. Please note that the final may not be accessible outside centre hours.
