De ce facem noi CITO? Pentru că ne pasă! Pentru că iubim şi respectăm natura şi pentru că din păcate acum, suntem noi, cei puţini, care trebuie să strângem după ei, cei mulţi. Dar şi pentru că sperăm ca lucrul acesta să se schimbe odată şi odată.
Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) este o inițiativă de mediu susținută de comunitatea geocaching. Din 2002, CITO a contribuit la păstrarea frumuseții naturale a spațiilor prietenoase cu cache-ul. La evenimentele CITO, geocacherii și grupurile comunitare lucrează împreună pentru a îmbunătăți parcurile și alte medii în aer liber. Curăță gunoiul, plantează copaci, elimină speciile invazive, construiesc poteci și multe altele. De două ori pe an, geocacherii pot câștiga suveniruri virtuale găzduind și participând la evenimente în timpul sezonului CITO.

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. At CITO events, geocachers and community groups work together to improve parks and other outdoor environments. They clean up litter, plant trees, remove invasive species, build trails, and more. Twice per year, geocachers can earn virtual souvenirs by hosting and attending events during CITO seasons.
