Geocache Description:

MassDOT Compliant Cache

Wetherbee Cache #1

I initially hid this cache near to the boundary between Wetherbee Conservation Land and the right of way of Route 2. But apparently MassDOT frowns geocaching close to Commonwealth highways so I relocated cache beyond the 100 ft. No Geocaching Zone, thus making it MassDOT compliant. Read MassDOT geocaching policy here: https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Massachusetts

Now that you are aware of this policy, DO NOT park your vehicle on the side of Route 2 and enter the woods looking for this cache. Also, DO NOT enter MassDOT property for any reason. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

So more about this cache...its in a container just a wee bit too small to fit a shot glass. I have tested this emperically. The cache is hidden very close to the boundary between Wetherbee Conservation Land and private property. It is concealed by stone and is located somewhere to the right of the two trunk tree in the photo. It was taken as the light was fading, hence the poor image quality.

**Significant snowfall will make this cache more difficult to find**

Please take note of the position of the cache container before retrieving it and be sure to return the container to it's original hiding location in order to maintain the intended level of concealment. Also, I would appreciate feedback on the condition of my containers. Each one is an experiment to make them more durable, watertight and inconspicuous. Thank you!
