A walk of some 4.3 km along paths and tracks in Cambus O'May woods with all caches within about 20 metres of the waymarked paths and tracks. It is also possible to do a shorter circular walk of about 1.5 km completing the four caches to the west and north of the car park.
This series of caches is based in Forestry and Land Scotland Cambus O’ May woodland and utilises the Lochside Trail and the Pine Tree Trail - further details of these trails can be found at www.forestry.gov.uk/cambusomay. These caches have been placed by the kind permission of Forestry and Land Scotland and you should follow all information and warnings given on their signs. You should especially note that if you leave the paths and go into the forest during the spring and summer, to please keep your dog under very close control - either at heel or on a lead. This is to help protect capercaillie. The series consists of a number of traditional caches, a multi cache and a field puzzle. There is also a bonus cache and the required information can be found in red ink in some of the caches.
