Geocache Description:

A walk of some 4.3 km along paths and tracks in Cambus O'May woods with all caches within about 20 metres of the waymarked paths and tracks - please see "Start - Cambus O'May" for important information about this series. These caches have been placed by the kind permission of Forestry and Land Scotland and you should follow all information and warnings given on their signs.

This series of caches is based on the wildlife and other features you may see on your walk and there is a lot of information on the display boards here.  The capercaillie is our largest grouse and is one of the rarest birds in the UK.

From the display boards at this location -

A - how many warmarked coloured trails are there?
B - how many circular pictures between both boards?
C - on the map, what is second last digit of the Ordnance Survey Licence Number at top left of map?

E - at bottom of display board, there are some numbers, what is the seventh digit
F - on the capercallie story there is a double digit number XY, what is Y-X?

Physical cache can be found at N 57 04.ABC W 002 59.DEF
