A wander through the Casuarina (She Oaks) here is always enjoyable. You might spot a kayaker or SUPer paddling along Towradgi Creek. You might spot some of the abundant local bird life. You might even spot someone fishing along the shoreline. When we walk through here the needles of the She Oaks always stick in Wicky's fur. We walk through here almost every day, and I enjoy seeing the area at differing tide levels, and in different lights. My favourite is right on twilight, when the stars reflect in the still waters.
There is a path that leads right to GZ, there is no need to leave the path at all. The local hoodlums (sadly, and frustratingly) often leave rubbish in here, do the environment a favour and take out what you find, there are bins just north of the Surf Club.
