The 3rd Principal Meridian is a Cardinal Point that was established by a Federal Surveyor on February 1, 1815 and at least 60 percent of the land in Illinois is measured and identified by these corrrdinates. This is your small bit of history, if you have not been here before. Hopefully you will enjoy it. You will be looking for a small container that only has room for a log.
