Von hier habt ihr eine schöne Aussicht auf das Schloss Nymphenburg. Genießt noch einmal den Anblick bevor es zur Erkundung in das Schloss mit seinem wunderbaren Schlosspark geht.
Vorab ein paar geschichtliche Fakten:
Die Gründung von Schloss Nymphenburg als Sommerresidenz ist der Geburt des langersehnten Thronerben Max Emanuel zu verdanken, der dem bayerischen Kurfürstenpaar Ferdinand Maria und Henriette Adelaide von Savoyen nach zehnjähriger Ehe 1662 geschenkt wurde.
1664 wurde mit dem Bau nach Plänen des Oberitalieners Agostino Barelli begonnen, der für München auch die Theatinerkirche entworfen hat.
Während der Regierungszeit des Kurfürsten Max Emanuel (1680 bis 1726) erhielt Schloss Nymphenburg seine heutigen Dimensionen.
Karl Albrecht, Kurfürst von Bayern und Kaiser (regierte 1726 bis 1745, seit 1742 Kaiser Karl VII.), setzte in Nymphenburg die vom Vater begonnenen Baumaßnahmen fort. Er bereicherte die Anlage durch das Schlossrondell.
Im frühen 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Schlosspark von einem ursprünglich geometrischen französischen Garten in einen Landschaftspark englischer Prägung verwandelt.

A few historical facts first:
The foundation of Nymphenburg Palace as a summer residence is due to the birth of the long-awaited heir to the throne, Max Emanuel, who was given to the Bavarian electoral couple Ferdinand Maria and Henriette Adelaide of Savoy after ten years of marriage in 1662.
Construction began in 1664 according to plans by the Italian Agostino Barelli, who also designed the Theatinerkirche for Munich.
During the reign of Elector Max Emanuel (1680 to 1726), Nymphenburg Palace acquired its present dimensions.
Karl Albrecht, Elector of Bavaria and Emperor (reigned 1726 to 1745, since 1742 Emperor Karl VII), continued the building work begun by his father in Nymphenburg. He enriched the complex with the palace rondel.
In the early 19th century, the palace park was transformed from an originally geometric French garden into an English-style landscape park.

Da qui si gode di una splendida vista sul Palazzo di Nymphenburg. Godetevi ancora una volta la vista prima di esplorare il palazzo e il suo meraviglioso parco.
Prima alcuni fatti storici:
La fondazione del Palazzo di Nymphenburg come residenza estiva è dovuta alla nascita del tanto atteso erede al trono, Max Emanuel, dato in sposa alla coppia elettorale bavarese Ferdinando Maria e Henriette Adelaide di Savoia dopo dieci anni di matrimonio nel 1662.
La costruzione iniziò nel 1664 su progetto dell'italiano Agostino Barelli, che progettò anche la Theatinerkirche di Monaco.
Durante il regno dell'Elettore Max Emanuel (1680-1726), il Palazzo di Nymphenburg acquisì le dimensioni attuali.
Karl Albrecht, Elettore di Baviera e Imperatore (regnante dal 1726 al 1745, dal 1742 Imperatore Carlo VII), continuò l'opera di costruzione iniziata dal padre a Nymphenburg. Arricchì il complesso con il rondò del palazzo.
All'inizio del XIX secolo, il parco del palazzo fu trasformato da un giardino geometrico francese in un parco paesaggistico all'inglese.
