LA FUENTE DE CIBELES
TWO VERSIONS: FIRST SPANISH, SECOND ENGLISH - DOS VERSIONES: PRIMERA ESPAÑOL, SEGUNDA INGLÉS.
SERIE 1: pretenden enseñar los tres tipos de roca: granito, mármol y caliza.
La Fuente de Cibeles es una de las fuentes más importantes de Madrid y de las más bonitas del mundo. Además, es donde el Real Madrid CF celebra sus títulos.
- Historia:
Carlos III supuso un gran cambio en la decoración de la villa de Madrid, ya que se le conoció como el alcalde de Madrid por todos sus grandes proyectos.
Ventura Rodríguez Tizón fue el arquitecto encargado de realizar los diseños de las fuentes principales del llamado proyecto del “Salón del Prado” de 1768. La finalidad de las obras incluían la total mejora del paseo del Prado, poninedo fuentes como la de Neptuno o la Cibeles.
La concepción de un trazado con tres fuentes se dedicaría a los cuatro elementos, dejando la central para Apolo, representando el Aire y el Fuego con el Dios del Sol, el Agua en la fuente de Neptuno, el Dios del Mar y, en el otro extremo la Tierra, encarnada en la Cibeles.
- ¿Qué es el granito?
El granito es una roca ígnea intrusiva de color claro, de composición félsica formada esencialmente por cuarzo, feldespato alcalino, plagioclasa y mica.
Es una de las rocas más comunes en la corteza terrestre y se forma a partir de la solidificación lenta del magma subterráneo. Debido a su proceso de formación lento y profundo, el granito suele tener una textura cristalina visible a simple vista, donde los minerales que lo componen se han dispuesto en cristales interconectados.
- Tipos de Granito:
1. GRANITO BLANCO:
Tiene granos muy finos, compactos y homogéneos que caracterizan este tipo de mármol.
2. GRANITO BLANCO PURO:
Este tipo de granito es el mismo que el anterior solo que sin procesos químicos.
3. GRANITO GRIS:
Es el granito normalmente más común, con fondo gris de grano grande con pigmentaciones que brillan negras.
4. GRANITO GRIS MARA:
Es de los granitos más duros y de gran calidad. El formato es parecido al anterior pero siendo de mejor calidad.
5. GRANITO VERDE:
Este granito parece que tiene musgo, pero no es así y normalmente se usa para decoración ya que es menos común.
6. GRANITO NEGRO:
Es totalmente negro, no solo sus granos. Como característica podemos mencionar que es una de las piedras que presenta mayor resistencia a la flexión.
- ¿Dónde se suele encontrar el granito?
El granito suele estar expuesto en las zonas céntricas de extensas cadenas montañosas.
Hay diversos países en este mercado en el que destacan países como Brasil, Arabia Saudí, España, etc.
Sin embargo, los yacimientos más importantes de este mineral se encuentran en:

El granito son parte de sal, azufre, cemento, lima, piedra y yeso.
- Mármol:
El mármol es una roca metamórfica compacta formada a partir de rocas calizas que, sometidas a elevadas temperaturas y presiones, alcanzan un alto grado de cristalización.
El componente básico del mármol es el carbonato cálcico, cuyo contenido supera el 90%; los demás componentes son los que dan gran variedad de colores en los mármoles y definen sus características físicas. Tras un proceso de pulido por abrasión el mármol alcanza alto nivel de brillo natural, es decir, sin ceras ni componentes químicos.
El mármol se utiliza principalmente en la construcción, decoración y escultura.

6. BLACK GRANITE:
It is totally black, not just its grains. As a characteristic we can mention that it is one of the stones that has the greatest resistance to bending.
