Sunrise at Stilfserjoch/Passo dello Stelvio
Almost every year I visit Stilfserjoch to maintain my caches, to eat a bratwurst - which has a completely different taste at 2.760m a.s.l. :) -, and to make a day trip upon the highest alpine passes.
Three years ago I arrived early in the morning, a 7:00 a.m., and I saw the beautiful sunrise you see in the pictures of the listing. So I thought: why not an event in the morning to possibly share this wonder?
So, let's meet at GZ at 7:45 a.m.: if the weather will be just... perfect we'll share the wiew alltogether. Otherwise, after the event we can have a breakfast at the nearby hut and/or have a walk to the caches I still miss, two tradis and an EC.
And after all, a bratwurst in the mid morning!!! :)
