Geocache Description:

07 August 2023, 15:00 - 16:30

Who:  Anyone and everyone!
When: Monday, August 7, 2023 from 3pm to 4:30pm.
What: Come and celebrate a couple of birthdays by joining us for (optional) go cart racing.
Where: Speeders, located at 12808 170th Street NW in Edmonton.
Why: Why not?

This is my first ever event that I've hosted.  I'm putting this one on with the help of my dad ("J" from JREnarson).

Earlier this weekend, I (GottaCacheEmAll62, aka "Scott") will have turned 14 years old.  And my dad ("J") will have just turned 45 on the day before me.  In celebration of the fact that I can now get my learner's permit, Dad has decided that we should do some go carting, and that we should make this into a geocaching event for anyone who wants to come.  We'd love it if a bunch of geocachers joined us for the actual racing, but even if you didn't want to race, feel free to come and hang out and visit.  There is no obligation to participate in the go carting in order to attend this event.

For anyone who wants to race, you can either come as a drop-in (but there is a risk that you won't be able to participate in the same races as us), or you can book online through their website.  While the geocaching event will be starting at 3pm to allow for some visiting beforehand, we are planning to have our first race at 3:30pm, and with a second race sometime to follow.

For those who do not want to race, you can just hang out and watch from the viewing area.

There will be a log book present at the event for people to sign if you wish.
