Geocache Description:

Goodbye Pittsworth

Pittsworth is a town located 30 minutes away from Toowoomba, just of the Gore Hwy. It was originally called Beauaraba but the railway station was named after Charles Pitts and the name stuck. This area once was a major centre for the Dairy Industry, which was a significant part of our local economy. Most of the dairies have long gone but other animal industres now call Pittsworth home.

This cache was hidden to remedy a problem that Pittsworth does not have any geocache hides.

Take a moment before you leave Pittsworth and try to locate a geocache. This one is a large systema with plenty of room for swaps and should be an easy find.  Please cover as you you found it after you sign the log
