Naturschutzgebiet Moosheide

Die „Moosheide“ ist mit 440 Hektar das größte Naturschutzgebiet der Senne. Ursprünglich war der Bereich des Naturschutzgebietes eine wellige, trockene Dünenlandschaft, bedeckt von lichten Wäldern und durchzogen von feuchten Bachtälern. Heute weist das Gebiet zahlreiche Spuren einer jahrhundertelangen Nutzung durch den Menschen auf. Alle typischen Landschaftselemente der Senne wie Dünen, Kleinmoore, wasserführende Kastentäler mit feuchten Wiesen und Erlenbeständen, Trockentäler, naturnahe Wälder, Heide, sandtrockenrasen und Sandäcker kommen in der Moosheide vor. Hier leben u.a. mehr als 450 Pflanzenarten, über 100 Vogelarten und zahlreiche Insekten.

Um die Vielfalt an Arten und Lebensräumen auch für andere Besucher zu erhalten, achtet bitte auf die Einhaltung der Naturschutzbestimmungen:
Das Verlassen der offiziellen Wege ist für diesen Cache nicht erforderlich und verboten.
Bitte lasst die Natur unberührt und folgt einfach den Wegen.
Dieser Cache darf nicht nachts angegangen werden.

Die Letterbox

Ziel dieser Letterbox ist es, euch die Schönheit dieser einmaligen Landschaft näher zu bringen. Die Wanderung ist kein Rundweg und beginnt an den angegebene Koordinaten in südöstlicher Richtung. Auf dem Weg findet ihr 4 Bonuszahlen, die ihr zum Öffnen der Letterbox benötigt.
Wenn ihr alle Zahlen (A,B,C,D) beisammen habt, rechnet X = A * B * C * D * 11.
Damit könnt ihr die Letterbox dann öffnen.

An dieser Stelle findet ihr die erste Muschel, und außerdem müsst ihr den längeren Weg zum Sandfangteich nehmen.

An dieser Stelle biegt ihr rechts ab

Und folgt dem Wanderweg, bis ihr zu einer Brücke kommt

Hinter der Brücke geht ihr rechts, bis ihr an die asphaltierte Straße kommt. Dann links und nach ein paar hundert Metern bei der nächsten Kreuzung findet ihr die Letterbox.

Moosheide nature reserve

With 440 hectares, the "Moosheide" is the largest nature reserve in the Senne. Originally, the area of the nature reserve was an undulating, dry dune landscape, covered by sparse forests and crisscrossed by wet stream valleys. Today, the area shows numerous traces of centuries of human use. All typical landscape elements of the Senne such as dunes, small moors, water-bearing box valleys with moist meadows and alder stands, dry valleys, near-natural forests, heath, sandy dry grasslands and sandy fields occur in the Moosheide. Among others, more than 450 plant species, over 100 bird species and numerous insects live here.

In order to preserve the diversity of species and habitats for other visitors, please pay attention to the observance of nature protection regulations:
Leaving the official trails is not required and prohibited for this cache.
Please leave nature untouched and just follow the trails.

The aim of this letterbox is to show you the beauty of this unique landscape. This hike is not a round trip and starts at the given coordinates in southeast direction.
On the way you will find 4 bonus numbers that you need to open the letterbox.
When you have all numbers (A,B,C,D) together, calculate X = A * B * C * D * 11.
With this you can open the letterbox.

Here, you want to take a turn to the right

Follow the way until you come to a bridge.

After the bridge, turn right until you reach the asphalt road. Then turn left and after a few hundred meters at the next intersection you will find the letterbox.
