The cache is placed along the Sioux Falls Bike Trail. A little bush-whacking is required and may be in a buggy location in the summer, but I did hide this cache in shorts on a hot summer day without being bothered.
If you have time take a walk along the newer dirt trail that runs between the main paved trail and the Big Sioux River. This trail is designed for the more adventurious cyclists but many walkers enjoy the shadier trail as well, and it offers more opportunities to spot wildlife. Move over to let cyclists pass.
KEEP OFF THE DIRT TRAIL IF WET AND IT CAN BE DANGEROUS IN PLACES ESPECIALLY IF COVERED IN SNOW OR ICE.
PARK CLOSES AT 10pm. Nearby restrooms and water fountain not available during winter months.
