This little village, called Chapelizod (Known locally as Chapo) features lots of lovely things to see and do.
The location was home to a Swans nest which saw a few seasons of Cygnets born right at this location. If you are visiting in Spring you may be lucky enough to see them on the waters or at the nest again.
Chapelizod Village is home to a shop, pharmacy, cafe's and pubs which are welcoming to visitors and locals. Nearby is Phoenix Park and surrounding areas for more caches.
As you enter this location you pass through Chapelizod Mill (now mostle apartments)- which was home to the Phoenix Park Distillery making Whisky from 1878-1921. Immediatly adjacent to the Geocache location are some of the remaining Whisky Distillery infrastructure which used a water wheel to turn the mills.
