This is the third iteration of this hide designed to bring you to a lovely and fascinating historic school. Best to avoid times when students are arriving or departing. Hope this one stays around a while.
I remember my father talking about a school that was built years ago out in a pasture, quite a way past any houses. "Why did they go and build that school way out there?" people would ask. Well that school was Thomas Jefferson High School which was completed in 1932. Of course, now it's in the middle of San Antonio. If you haven't seen it before, you should. It's absolutely beautiful. In 1983 it became a part of the National Register of Historic Places and is designated a Texas historic landmark. Do not go on to school grounds. Just enjoy the view.
