You are looking for a bison tube with only a log.
The Steenbarger Cemetery is just outside of Taylorsville, Indiana and has 24 burials in the cemetery. Unfortunatley not all graves are marked. The earliest burial that I saw was 1823.
John Steinberger served in the Revolutionary War as a Private in Capt M Reader's Co from Virginia. You will find a bronze plaque at the base of a granite marker that has a different spelling (John Stonebarger) and a different death date (1821).
He had 2 wives, both named Elizabeth. In 1804, John moved to Ohio, settling on Nettle Creak near Millerstown. He and his son Frederick built a house and a mill on the land adjacent to the Norman family. Millerstown was an Indian Village at the time. In 1819 they moved to Indiana where they were buried on the banks of the Flat Rock River. Later the bodies were moved by a grandson Joe Steinberger and lie in unmarked graves on his lot.
