The kickoff here was in June but we couldn't make it. Merlin1392, the hiking viking and I intend to fix that! [Wording below is mostly lifted from the June event]
Let's meet at the posted coordinates at the kayak launch. We will stage a couple vehicles downriver at sometime during the event to W Sharon Rd Launch. Even if you don't plan to head down the river, please show up to see us off. I hope to launch at 10:00 or when all vehicles are staged and kayakers have returned.
A recreation passport is needed for parking at all locations.
Group float time in June was about 5 hours. 36 caches make up the KTM Letterbox GeoArt series. Cell phone signal is spotty in the area, so create a list and download to offline data or load on to GPS.
We are launching from the CCC Bridge. There is a State Forest Campground here if you would like to camp for the event.
