Geocache Description:

DITAT DEUS is the Motto of Arizona and it is on the state seal, as well as being on this Dolan Springs sign.

Ditat Deus is Latin and means "God Enriches."

Dolan Springs is the Gateway to Grand Canyon West.

The interesting history of Dolan Springs, including how the town got its name, can be found at

http://www.dolanspringscommunitycouncil.com/museum.html

Parking is available on the wide roadway shoulder.

I check the cache regularly. If the physical log isn't signed I have to assume you didn't actually look for it. Just being in the area and even taking a picture in the area is not really the point of this activity. If the log isn't signed I have no choice but to delete the find in order to protect the integrity of the activity. I've had to delete a couple already.

This Geocache is on Arizona State Trust Land where Geocaching is allowed. Geocachers must purchase a recreation permit available on the Arizona State Land Department's website. These permits are good for 12 months and good on other Arizona State Trust land areas.
