Geocache Description:

(LV)

No kuģa apkalpes izglābies tikai viens virsnieks. Par godu šim brīnumam, šo vietu (tagadējo Jūrkalni) viņš nosaucis par Feliksbergu – laimīgo kalnu.
Pret to vietu, kur krastā viņš izglābies, virsnieks licis uzcelt baznīcu.

(EN)
According to an old legend, a service was held in the first Jūrkalne church during a storm. News has reached the church that a ship is sinking in the sea near the old graves. Then the pastor went to the seaside with a flag and a censer, inviting the members of the congregation to follow. On the shore they held a prayer and sent a rowboat to help the sailors. In the fight against the elements, the captain and part of the team managed to be saved.

The captain named this place Feliksberg (happy shore) in honor of the miracle of saving.
The village was renamed as Jūrkalne during the first independence.

According to another legend, in ancient times, when people still traveled by sea with sailboats, one of them died directly towards Jūrkalni. Only one officer escaped from the ship's crew. In honor of saving miracle, he named this place as Felixsberg - the happy mountain.
The officer ordered a church to be built opposite the place where he escaped on the shore.

Also in the current Jūrkalne church, an impressive drawing can be seen on the ceiling - a sailor in a stormy sea.
The first church is said to have fallen into the sea. But the second was struck by lightning and burned. This is the third church.

QUESTION.
In which year did Jūrkalne get its current name?
1) 1789
2) 1925
3) 1954

To find the cache, you must insert the correct year (ABCD) into this simple formula:
N57° (C-2)(A+2).(C-2)(D)(B), E21° (C)(D-1).(D+1)(D+1)(B-2)
