There is a reason so many people love to run the trail along Lady Bird Lake. Scenic views like this one make it so nice! A lot has changed along the river over the years including the installation of the boardwalk and remodeling many docks; however, this spot, Lou Neff Point has remained the same for a long as I remember.
Now and then you'll find someone sitting on the block rocks that line the trail playing their guitar for passing runners. Down the way a bit is a nice bridge and Zilker Park. The other direction is the pedestrian bridge to cross to the north side.
I increased the terrain on this one mostly because there isn't a convenient parking spot here. It will be a walk to get to it. There are LOTS of runners, walkers, bikers, and people around so use caution when retrieving and replacing.
