Jonker Walk
Jonker Walk is at the main street of Chinatown/Jonker Street in Malacca Heritage City. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when the night closing by, Jonker Walk will close off its access for all vehicles and turns into night market.
During special occasions, the performance stage will be showcasing cultural performances or hosting events. At certain day of the week, the stage will crowded by the local during 11pm, karaoke will be hosted for the local elderly. Filling the midnight with classic old songs.

Jonk
The word ‘jonk’ can be translate from Dutch to English word ‘junk’, which means Chinese sailing ship, with a flat-bottomed but high in bow and stern design. The English name comes from Javanese djong (Malay: adjong), meaning 'ship' or 'large vessel’. During the early years when Jonker Walk started, a Chinese sail statue can be seen at the entrance of Jonker Street as a landmark. Currently, the statue is replaced by 12 Chinese zodiac statue that changes every year according to the present year’s zodiac.

The cache
Cache is magnetic. Located at a small alleyway beside Jonker Walk entrance signage and performance stage. Its also the far end of Jonker Street from Stadthuys. This alleyway leads to a hotel and its guest parking lot, and also serves as a backstreet for the shop lot nearby.
