Mrs Bear-CAT wanted to hide a new cache on her birthday this year, so we returned to a favorite area on Lookout Mountain. The Durham Mine trails are the newest section of land opened for hiking and biking by Lula Lake Land Trust. All trails leave from central Trailhead and parking lot. This cache is along the main DC&C Trail. This is a broad, nearly flat trail to the GZ.
UPDATE 10/24/24: The original plastic container had gone missing. There is now a proper ammo box a little farther off the trail; coordinates updated accordingly and new swag added!
You are looking for a camo taped plastic container, big enough for swag, TBs, etc. Cache is within 60' of the trail. Please hide it well so non-cachers won't see it.
All trails at Durham Mines close at sunset, so this is a DAYLIGHT ONLY find!
