Marine on St. Croix was founded in 1839 as Marine Mills, by a group who had moved from Marine, Illinois. This was the site of the first commercial sawmill in the St. Croix Valley. In order to find this cache, you will need to visit just two of many historic sites in the vicinity.
The posted coordinates bring you to a plaque giving some history of Marine on St. Croix, and the Marine Bell. Based on this plaque, how many feet east of here was the first sawmill? Take that number and subtract 85. The result is EFG.
Waypoint 1 brings you to a plaque giving additional history about the gristmills. Based on this plaque, what year did the grist mill cease operation ? Take that number and subtract 3. That number is ABCD.

Caution on Final Coordinates: This is one of those locations where GZ is very unstable. If you are using a smartphone, your location may bounce all over the place, or even just get stuck in the wrong spot. The final coordinates were averaged over a dozen times for 3 weeks.
