Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk
In 2019 I embarked a epic geocaching adventure. We were 18 crazy geocachers from Washington, Oregon and Canada on a quest to fill in our Jasmer grids. We called ourselves the Jasmer Quest 2019. Loaded in two vans we hit the road and and traveled through 6 states in 6 days including Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Washington. I am devoting this letterbox hybrid to that trip. I have included our Jasmer Quest 2019 stamp as the letterbox stamp, a pre-signed log with all the Jasmer names and some stickers. The cache is at the posted coordinates. The coordinates were jumpy down in the ravine so I included a spoiler photo.
FTF awards go to Corvettekent, Cache Finder 6000 & Foreverlost1!
Here are the letterbox directions to find the cache.
Start at the parking coordinates follow the asphalt drive passing through a gate and down the hill curving to the right. You will see Yost Pool on the right and soon the path will turn from asphalt to dirt. Keep walking on the trail and you will see a steep downward path with a hand rail on your left. Don't take that path, the bridge is out indefinitely. Continue walking the dirt path until you come to a second path to the left. Take it down and keep to the left when the path forks, go over the bridge, stay to the left at the Y and you will come to a four way intersection with Post #9 in the middle. Turn right and look behind the second tree about 15 feet from the trail.
