I previously had a cache hidden here. It was called Orange in a Tree, but it came up missing...the cache, not the tree. There wasn't a tree living here when I orginially placed the cache, but it was a good spot. I haven't been able to find another orange to hide in this "tree" so as a bonus I have replaced it with a blue. I have tucked a new cache in here and it is a quickie grab if you are cruising around out here in the country.
Once a tree is removed or felled, the stump and roots begin a very slow decaying process. Over time, they will become home to various pests, organisms, and fungi...and caches.
Please be sure to hide the cache under the natural cover before driving off.
