Geocache Description:

An exhilarating walk to the top of one of the higher peaks in the Grampians.

This should only be undertaken by fit, adventurous, experienced bushwalkers (who like walking up hills). It is not suitable for young children.

The walk from Troopers Creek campground is listed as 5 km each way, but is generally up hill with some steep climbs and rock scrambling involved. Allow at least 1:30 to get up, and 1:15 to get back down, and take plenty of water, especially on hot days. There may be quicker ways in, especially if you have a 4WD.

(You can make it part of a day round trip by continuing to Briggs Bluff, Beehive Falls and then Roses Gap. You then need to walk approx. 7.5km back to your car or have a car shuttle set up).

The cache is a located just down from the top of the hill. To ensure you don't walk all the way up and not find the cache, take a copy of the photo(s), but use only if absolutely necessary.

Note: This is a normal cache, not one of Muzza's Triple Letter caches.
