N: Der Wackelstein
Seitwärts der Straße von Amaliendorf nach Schrems liegt ein viele Tonnen schwerer Steinblock auf einem niedrigeren derart auf, daß der Druck eines Fingers gegen ihn genügt, das "Ungeheuer" in eine merkliche Bewegung zu bringen; deshalb heißt der Stein Wackelstein. Der untere und der obere Stein sind, in sehr alten Zeiten, nebeneinander gelegen. Einmal kam der Teufel daher, stolperte über den einen Block und schnellte ihn mit der Fußspitze auf den anderen, wo er dann liegen blieb. Seither wackelt dieser, wie der Sagenmund meint.
O: Die Steinerne "Wiege"
Als "Unsre liebe Frau" Maria noch auf Erden herumwanderte, kam sie auch einmal nach Traunstein. Damals war das heilige Kind recht unruhig. Darum hat die Gottesmutter bei dem Wagstein gerastet und das Kind darauf gelegt. Da hat der Stein auf einmal zum Wiegen angefangen, so daß das Kind eingeschlafen ist. Heute noch hat der Stein, wo das Kind gelegen ist, eine Grube, und wenn man ihn fest anfaßt, so schaukelt er hin und her und heißt deshalb auch die "heidelnde Wiege".
N: The wobbling stone
Along the road from Amaliendorf to Schrems there is a stone block weighing many tons resting on a lower one in such a way that the pressure of a finger against it is enough to cause the "monster" to move noticeably; That's why the stone is called Wackelstein (wobbling stone). Today the stone where the child lay still has a pit, and if you touch it firmly, it sways back and forth and is therefore called the "healing cradle".
