This geocache had to be replaced as the original shiny one has sadly been nicked or thrown away.
The replacement is in exactly the same location but no longer a shiny one but still magnetic.
This cache is placed in Castle Heather Park, a favourite for dog walkers and with a duck pond. Potential basketball stars can perfect their skills on the practice court at one end while toddlers can have fun and games at the other end.
This cache has had an interesting journey in that it has travelled to St Kilda.
I was going to the remote island chain this summer but noticed that the geocache there had gone missing. I duly contacted Gregsy68 who had placed it offering to take a replacement out. I duly did only to find on arrival at the location that somone had already placed a replacement cache. Gregsy68 kindly allowed me to keep his replacement, so here it is, far away from Village Bay View St Kilda.
