MD --> NH, Extra Early Coffee
One of the aspects of geocaching I have enjoyed is meeting folks at events. In my area of Maryland, we have a very early, weekly Monday morning "bring your own" coffee event to kick off each week. It is a nice, low-key way to ease into the week and discuss some of the caching adventures we had over the weekend. Recently, a fellow caching friend of mine suggested the idea of holding a similar event during one of my regular visits up to New Hampshire, and I thought: "why not?" I figured I would set up a similar event during my upcoming visit to see if any other early risers may be interested in meeting up!
So Monday August 21st at 6:30AM, I will be meeting up at the Raymond Town Commons/Lyman Memorial Park and hope that some local cachers may be interested in doing so as well. Looking forward to chatting a bit about caching, and learning about some local caches in the area before easing off to start the week. Attendees can bring their own coffee (and whatever else they may want). To be a good host, I will bring some small, geocaching-related collectable tokens from the Maryland Geocaching Society that I plan to give out to all attendees.
And of course, the event will help anyone who attends towards meeting the requirements for this month's Wheel of Challenges "Iconic Cacher" souvenirs.
Look forward to meeting you. Hope you stop by if you have a chance!
