Welcome to September! This is the second month of the planets. This month is Venus. Venus is the second planet from our sun. Venus spins in the opposite direction of most the other planets in our solar system. Similar in structure and size to Earth, Venus's thick atmosphere traps heat in a runaway greenhouse effect, making it the hottest planet in our solar system.
Summer has come to an end, but hopefully you still have a road trip or two in you this fall. I will do my best to schedule some rain this morning. But last month (August) was a dry one. My rain streak has come to an end. Come prepared to talk about your adventures since our last breakfast, or perhaps you have plans coming up you're willing to share. Of course we have to hear of your misshaps, blunders, successes, light bulb moments. Photos are alway welcome too. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone there.
