Welcome to SGL 322, just outside of Huntingdon, PA! There is a "hidden gem" located in this SGL, "The Cliffs". This two stage multi cache will take you along the ridge to absolutely beautiful views of the Juniata River and the town of Huntingdon. The posted coordinates take you to Stage 1, where you will find coordinates for Stage 2. The Stage 2 location will give you coordinates for the Final. Start out at the Parking waypoint at N 40° 31.303 W 78° 1.014 and find the gate at the far left of the parking area. Follow this gated path approximately 0.4 miles to a power line clearing. Stay straight and find "The Cliffs Trail", at N40 31.128 W078 01.351 , it is not marked or blazed, but is clearly a worn trail. Also here is a SGL path, don't take that, take THE TRAIL. You will take this trail to both stages and also the final. At each stage there is a bison, hidden inside are the coordinates for the next stage. The final is an ammo can. The total trip from parking to the final is approximately 1.5 miles (one way).
NOTES:
1) Both the SGL path and trail are a fairly easy walk. The trail is narrower and has a few short hills (up and down). After finding the final, you can go back the way you came (on the trail), or to make a LOOP, you can do a short bushwhack to the power line clearing and come back that way.
2) When searching for the two stages and the final, there is no need to go to the very edge of the cliffs. This can be a dangerous area, so be VERY careful. Children should not be allowed to wander alone near the cache location.
3) The final is in a large rock formation area. The gps coordinates were a bit jumpy here, so please see the hint and SPOILER pic if you're having trouble.
