This cache is at an old fire lookout at the peak of Mount Hallowell in Spipiyus Provincal Park. This cache requires an off-road vehicle or a long hike.
Start at Trout Lake Road (the one at the bottom of the hill) and the highway and take the Halfmoon-Carlson forestry road all the way to the trailhead. We would recommend taking the left road as you enter the park. It is about a 1.4 km steep hike to the cache from the trailhead.
You can also hike from the main highway on the trail above the Malaspina Power Station. You will need to hike through a wash out. It is about a 4 hour strenuous, steep hike (one way) to the cache.
The cache is inside the lookout next to the summit register.
