Another cache brought to you by a member of the
USCGA
It's a short walk down a trail that is off the old access road at
Warpath Landing. The trail is well defined and loops around a point
of land on Lake Keowee.
The cache is in a clear plastic jar about a quart and a half in
size.Inside the jar is a log book with pencils, a rugrat pin, a kid
size wallet, playing cards, measuring tape, an egg, a top, a camp
knife, and kids sunglasses. The cache is at Warpath Landing which
is off Hwy. 183 in Pickens county. Park at the concrete barriers at
the old access road and walk down the old road until you see the
trail off to the right. The trail is wide and fairly smooth and has
some good views of the lake. The cache is near one of the sandy
shore areas that are popular with sunbathers and boaters. The trail
circles back into itself and is an easy trip for young and old
cachers. The FF&W logo (a smiley face with his tongue hanging
out) is near all FF&W caches. Have a good hunt.
